Happy New Year! It’s time to make our New Year’s Resolutions. One thing we hope to see is more activity among our members. Here are some things you can do to help keep LTE alive and relevant. (tick all that apply)

This year, I will…

…attend the ‘ledendag’ on April 11th.

…attend an ‘examenbespreking’ this May.

…join a ‘bestuursvergadering’ at least once.

…present a workshop of ‘good practices at a conference.

…join/ lead a professional learning community (PLG).

…convince one colleague to join Levende Talen.

This is the website for Levende Talen Engels. We have updated this site so it can better meet your needs. We have started a Calendar where we keep track of upcoming events so you can keep your own knowledge and skills up to date. We also have renewed our ‘materials‘ page and hope to hear from members (you!) about other, useful websites you have found and would like to share.

This year, we are working on the theme of ‘Together Everyone Achieves More’, or TEAM for short. We are looking for teachers who want to work together in professional learning communities, especially with the new Dutch curricular objectives (kerndoelen) on the way.

We also send our members newsletters on a regular basis. Have you not gotten yours recently? Please let us know.

We look forward to a super school year with all of our members this year!
